Pierre is a Managing Partner of DN Capital. Prior he was the European Partner for ABS Ventures and a Managing Director of Deutsche Bank Venture Partners with responsibility for all European venture investments, concentrating on financial services and enterprise software. Together with his partners he executed in 2004 a successful buyout of Deutsche Banks Venture portfolio into ABS Ventures.

Pierre has been on the board of a number of companies in the US and Europe. Among them: Clearforest (New York), Inxight (Santa Clara), End2End (Aalborg), Gomez (Boston), Execution (London), Trema (Stockholm). Xyleme (Paris) and Webperform (London). He currently holds Board positions in Adeptra (London), Wstore (Paris), and RiskMetrics (New York).

Previously, he has spent more than 17 years in various senior management positions in Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank in London and Frankfurt with responsibilities for venture investing, equities trading, hedge funds and risk management. Roles included Managing Director at DB Capital Venture Partners, European Head of Managed Funds, Deputy Head of Equities (FFM), Global Head of Risk Management Advisory Group and Head of Global Risk Management Group. Pierre has been a frequent chairman and speaker at private equity and risk management conferences. He gained a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Trier.
