Renee joined 3i's venture capital team as a partner in 2005. She is a senior member of the Portfolio Management Team and has responsibility for the European divestment process and publicly quoted assets. Prior to joining 3i she was a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers, with a focus on Media, Internet & Communications. Renee has over 12 years of corporate finance experience with firms such as BT Alex Brown, Deutche Bank and Lehman Brothers, where she focussed on M&A and private /public capital raising for growth companies in both Europe and the US. Prior to Investment Banking, Renee worked for 5 years in European sales & marketing for a financial services focussed software business.

Renee Aguiar-Lucander has a BA in finance from Stockholm School of Economics and a MBA from Insead.
